Strategic Objectives
- To support children and youth through accessible and affordable adolescent/child friendly services to reduce vulnerability to exploitation and sexual abuse.
- To ensure a continuum of support to children and families under the face of HIV/AIDS scoutge, while striving to help improve their living conditions, with livelihood options.
- To support skills development for empowerment of women with creativity and innovation to earn sustainable incomes for improved conditions of living;
- To ensure proper community management of enviromental resourses and raising public awareness on the link between environment, poverty and development.
- Linking poverty and environment. EWA has constructed ecological sanitation toilets at the langing sites of Kigungu and Misoli in Entebbe with support of UNDP (Gef/UNEP/UNOPS)
Support to grandwother families caring for HIV/AIDS orphans has been one of hte EWAs fulfilled dreams. Children and the elderly are both vulnerable. EWA provides, IGAs like pigs, goats, beans, maize and cassava for food security. Thanks to the Stephen Lewis Foundation.

Malaria control goes hand in hand with hygiene campaigns to reduce diseases in rural communities. Mosquito nets have been provided to 180 families with assistance from Kitchen Tables Charities

Supporting women in artisinal snall scale mining which is considered hazardous as they use reudimentary methods, other IGAs of poultry and piggery have been appreciated in Kigungu, Misoli, Bussi and Nalugala in Entebbe sub-district. Thanks to World Bank. (CASM).
